modern art

I'm usually (wrongly) of the opinion that most modern art is rubbish.  I just don't get it.  A sugar cube on a brick?  Um, no.

But this is BRILLIANT.  Leandro Erlich's has constructed a full size fake swimming pool that makes for a surreal scene for the unprepared - on approach visitors will see people, fully clothed, under the water, standing, chatting and breathing normally.  It now has a permanent home in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan.  If I ever get to my number 1 must-see country, this is on my list for sure.
